The scenario, titled "Delivering Gravel to Wildau", is timetabled and involves working a freight train through passenger traffic at several points. Right from the first instruction, the arrival/departure times are impossible to meet. The player train begins its run just beyond a passenger track marker, where it has to stop while two other trains leave the station area. This is a very heavy freight train that cannot possibly reach the marked siding by its scheduled arrival time; once stopped at the marker, the train does not receive a green signal until more than two minutes after its scheduled departure time. The train's second destination is even more impossible. Again, it is absolutely impossible to reach the destination marker, where the freight is supposed to wait for a passenger train again, by the scheduled time while driving within the speed limit. The passenger train arrives well before the freight and picks up passengers. As the passenger train starts to leave the station, the automatic switch it is approaching changes and the player freight is routed directly into the path of the departing passenger train!

Any way to fix this scenario? The crash occurs just before the second stop instruction.

Hi SamPzVI,,

I just tested all scenarios with "-followaitrain".

But I think, we can fix such timing related issue.

After finishing Koeblitzer Mountain v1.21,
I will check that scenario, and let you know!

Cheers!

Thanks, no hurry. I haven't been able to figure out which train to needs to have its timing adjusted.

The scenario, titled "Delivering Gravel to Wildau"

>while two other trains leave the station area.
>the train does not receive a green signal until more than two minutes after its scheduled departure time.

This start station is Altenburg Gleis 9.
The scheduled departure time is 16:38:30.
But you will get Green signal at 16:41:15.

This is Normal since almost 2 minutes are required for the preceding train to pass shared block!

>The train's second destination is even more impossible.
>The passenger train arrives well before the freight and picks up passengers.
>As the passenger train starts to leave the station, the automatic switch it is approaching changes
>and the player freight is routed directly into the path of the departing passenger train!

This platform is "(S) Destination1 Rudolf Bach Exit Signal"
When I do this with "-followaitrain", the Player train can get here around 16:54:30.
Well, this will the best possible time to achieve....

Here the passenger train is "RB 1 Altenburg".
And that will arrive here around 16:57:30.

So, If you can make it within 16:57:30, you can pass this platform.
(3 minutes later worse than "-followaitrain"... HaHa!)

Even you arrive here later than passenger train, the switcher SHOULD work correctly.
I think switching problem is due to Altenburg route BUG, I had similar problem with V1.0 Also..
The only way is to adjust time to avoid this kind of BUG!

=============
Let's say you need 2 more minutes to arrive "(S) Destination1 Rudolf Bach Exit Signal".

The inside scenario editor, open time table, and adjust

1. "Gz Wildau (P)" departure time from "(S) Destination1 Rudolf Bach Exit Signal".
17:01:08 + 2 minutes => 17:03:08
2. "RB 1 Altenburg" departure time(initial start time)
16:55:00 + 2 minutes => 16:57:00

Then you have 2 more minutes to get there...
Try another minutes it you need more time...

================

Next station is "Marienbaum 2".

RB 1 Altenburg (2) will arrive here around 17:18:00.
I think, you can make it within time schedule.

And go for Wildau!

Good luck!
